Knowing experience, knowledge, and good judgment but being able

Knowing yourself is a journey, it’s about discovering who you are. The journey is about finding your biggest fears and insecurities. It also helps you recognize how you are living life and your purposes. It can be challenging and may take some time but it is important and beneficial. It is important because it gives you a sense of who you are and what you want. If you were to not know yourself you would be in a constant cycle of asking questions like “why is this happening to me?” ¬†and “why do I keep having the same problems?”. These difficult but important questions bring us closer to a better understanding of ourselves. If they go unanswered, we become stuck in a cycle of continually repeating the past and the mistakes. Taking control of our lives requires that we find the answers and know thyself. Wisdom is not just the quality of having experience, knowledge, and good judgment but being able to act on it. Knowing thyself relates to wisdom because knowing yourself is a part of being able to learn more about anything else and eventually create and build the strongest version of yourself and be wise. You should be able to know yourself first before you can fully understand others. To gain wisdom we must strive to know more. There are many ways to know oneself, but to me the most efficient ways is by making error and seeing what makes you happy. For example the things you are failing at or keep making mistakes on, you can improve them and it will make you strong and more superior than before. You will learn from your mistake and apply something to change that and as you do that you will get a better understanding of yourself. Also by something making you happy it can give you a vivid image of yourself and who you truly are. Knowing oneself relates to having to know something about one’s world. So I do not agree that one can know oneself without knowing about one’s world and others in that world. To begin to know one selfe you have to know and identify the world around you. You have to start with what you have and that includes one’s world.
